Position Summary: As an experienced member of the Legal Resource Center (LRC), the Legal Support Specialist II (LSS II) provides advanced administrative and legal support to attorneys firm wide.  The LSS II works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team environment to deliver the highest level of service to internal and external clients. The Legal Support Specialist II role is an opportunity to continue enhancing your career in a professional services environment.  Bradley offers inhouse training to broaden skillsets with applications that are needed to perform the essential functions of this role.  The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, punctual and will have excellent organization, communication and computer skills.  Opportunity will exist to mentor our team members in the Legal Support Specialist I role.  Key Responsibilities:  Prepare legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence from draft or dictated text. File documents in State, County, and Federal Courts. Create, edit, format, and proofread documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Draft simple notices and routine legal documents. Prepare pleadings and briefs using advanced Microsoft Word features, including Tables of Contents, Tables of Authorities, Cross-Referencing, and Track Changes. Transcribe information from audio recordings. Create and edit PowerPoint presentations, graphs, and charts. Manage multiple assignments and priorities to meet deadlines while coordinating with internal support teams. Transmit legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials through electronic filing, email, mail, fax, and messenger services. Assist with client financial records, accountings, and reporting requirements. Maintain calendars, track critical deadlines, and ensure accurate deadline calculations. Submit and maintain Bar and Court Admissions. Track attorney Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements. Provide support, back-up assistance, and PTO coverage for the LSS II team. Perform other advanced clerical tasks and related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Associate’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus. 4-5 years of Legal Assistant experience in a law firm required, including litigation experience. Strong interpersonal, client service, and teamwork skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to remain professional, composed, and tactful in high-pressure situations. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong judgment and attention to detail. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion. Technology-savvy with a proactive approach to learning new tools and improving efficiency. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and law firm software applications. Familiarity with basic graphics and image editing functions, including resizing, copying, and pasting. Strong proofreading, typing accuracy, and document quality control skills. Ability and desire to train, mentor, and support colleagues. Various physical activities may be required as part of the role. Why Join Bradley?
