Seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Firm’s tax-exempt organizations and private wealth practices. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who will serve as an integral part of the practices by assisting with tracking projects and research as needed. The administrative support responsibilities span a broad range of client matters. This is a non-exempt role and in office position.
Primary duties:
- Actively participates in the intake and workflow of a broad range of tax, transactional, and regulatory client matters.
- Researches and prepares legal memoranda regarding tax and corporate law.
- Prepares corporate governance documents such as articles of incorporation, bylaws, resolutions, board books, and minutes of meetings.
- Prepares tax-exempt materials such as tax-exempt applications, state registrations, and other correspondence and filings with the IRS, state attorney general, and other federal and state offices.
- Prepares estate planning documents and related support documents.
- Corresponds with clients regarding the client project workflows.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with academic excellence required.
- 1-3 years of internship or relevant experience preferred.
- Excellent project management skills, flexibility, and the capability to work within strict and rapidly changing timelines.
- Superior analytical, technical, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, effectively prioritize, and utilize time efficiently.
- Must have a strong attention to detail and work product accuracy.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment with evolving demands.
- Demonstrated good judgment and work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively navigate relationships with attorneys, staff, clients and other external parties.
- High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe and ability to learn the appropriate use of AI and other technologies.
- Demonstrated capability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $49,000 - $69,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to experience level, education/training, and relevant skills.
