Job Description

Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity BSG) is a leading national provider of technical building services and solutions for the commercial and industrial facilities market. Our product and service offerings include Building HVAC/Mechanical Systems, Building Automation and controls, Systems Integration, and Emergency Generators.

We are looking for a junior-level in-house attorney who will work with the General Counsel to meet the daily legal needs of Fidelity Building Services Group and its partner companies.

This is an in-office position.

Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is detail-oriented, and has been exposed to the following areas of law regularly: construction, corporate, litigation, insurance, real estate, contract, government procurement, personal injury, and employment.

Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction of the United States
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficient at using: Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and revising Master Agreements, Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Vendor Agreements, and other contracts
  • Communicating with and discussing legal strategy with outside counsel and insurance carriers
  • Monitoring litigation, reviewing and analyzing pleadings and discovery, and assisting with responses to discovery requests on behalf of partner companies
  • Monitoring and updating state corporate filings with various Secretary of State Offices throughout the country
  • Reviewing, updating, and maintaining internal corporate documents
  • Reviewing and revising lease agreements
  • Assisting with collections of accounts receivable
  • Maintaining and organizing insurance claim files

  • Compensation: $150k+ (Commensurate with experience.) This range represents a general guideline; however, several factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. We offer a compensation package that reflects your skills and experience. This role is eligible for variable compensation, including performance-based bonuses.
