Job Description

The Washington, DC office of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, one of the world’s leading and largest intellectual property law firms, is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Summer Interns. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to gain practical experience and insights into administrative law firm operations across operational departments (Marketing, Human Resources, Recruiting and Professional Development, Diversity & Inclusion, IP Operations, Information Technology, Finance/Accounting).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with research and administrative projects.
  • Perform data entry and basic analysis.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments.
  • Shadow and learn from experienced employees.
  • Attend meetings and take notes.
  • Contribute to team projects and/or presentations.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program. Preferred majors include Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, and Computer Science.
  • Open to rising Sophomores and above.
  • Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in your chosen field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to pitch in where needed.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior internship or work experience preferred but not required.

Applications are due by April 10th.  The approximate program dates are June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025.  Please note that housing will not be provided; all applicants must secure their own housing for the duration of the program.

The pay for this role is $22 per hour.
