The Opportunity:
At Brkthru, our legal function plays an important role in supporting the business behind the scenes, helping ensure our partnerships, processes, and contract operations are set up for success. As a Legal Intern, you’ll work closely with our internal stakeholders to support contract review and gain exposure to how legal considerations impact a growing business. This is a hands-on opportunity to see how legal work connects to day-to-day operations, particularly within a fast-paced digital media environment.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with contract review and organization, helping to track, summarize, and maintain agreements across the business.
- Support the team in identifying key terms, deadlines, and potential risks within contracts.
- Help maintain and organize legal documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Conduct basic legal or business research to support contract-related questions or internal requests.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information needed for agreements and legal documentation.
What You’ll Gain:

Organized, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in corporate law, contracts, or business operations.
Prior coursework or exposure to contract law or legal writing.
Ability to commit 10–15 hours per week.
Ability to be onsite to present your capstone project at our office in Southfield, MI at the end of your internship.
Other Details:
The typical schedule will be 10-15 hours per week depending on workload and selected intern availability. This is a paid internship at the rate of $13.73/hour.
This is a Summer 2026 Internship opportunity set to start on May 18, 2026, and run through late August 2026.
