Pusch & Nguyen Law Firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intake Attorney to oversee our Intake Department. The Intake Attorney will be responsible for supervising the intake process, ensuring efficient and accurate qualification of potential clients, and providing guidance and support to our intake team. This role is crucial in the initial client experience and directly impacts the firm's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Intake Department.
  • Develop and implement efficient intake procedures and protocols to qualify potential clients effectively.
  • Review and analyze potential client inquiries and information to determine the viability of cases in alignment with the firm’s practice areas and criteria.
  • Provide legal guidance and oversight to the intake team on client qualification processes and relevant legal considerations.
  • Train and mentor intake specialists on firm policies, intake procedures, and client communication best practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and management of client information in the firm’s systems.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other departments to facilitate a smooth transition of qualified clients.
  • Monitor and analyze intake metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and conversion rates.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the firm’s practice areas, target clientele, and qualification criteria.
  • Ensure compliance with all ethical guidelines and firm policies during the intake process.
  • Handle escalated or complex intake situations and provide appropriate resolutions.
  • Participate in regular meetings with firm leadership to report on intake activities and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements

 

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience practicing law, preferably with some experience in client interaction or intake processes.
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and the ability to quickly assess the merits of potential cases.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
