Job Description
Description
What you’ll do:
You’re the go-to resource for our Fee Attorney operations—part trainer, part compliance guide, part closer. You’ll be there to onboard new offices, answer the tough title and escrow questions, and step in when a closing needs a steady hand. You’ll help ensure our processes are tight, our files are clean, and our clients are confident.
Who you are:
- Mentor and trainer, building confidence and capability in new Fee Attorney offices and team members through hands-on support and ongoing education.
- Compliance champion, helping offices stay aligned with American Title Company and TDI regulations, and proactively reducing risk through documentation review and process oversight.
- Process improver, collaborating with leadership to streamline workflows, monitor lag reports, and keep operations running smoothly.
- Reliable closer, ready to jump in when needed—preparing disclosures, managing documents, and ensuring every closing is accurate and client-focused.
Your responsibilities:
- Training & Education
- Train new Fee Attorney offices and team members on our settlement software and internal processes
- Provide ongoing support and guidance on title and escrow-related questions at the file level
- Help build team knowledge and confidence through mentorship
- Compliance
- Assist Fee Attorney offices in maintaining compliance with American Title Company and TDI regulations
- Monitor documentation and procedures to reduce errors and mitigate risk of shortages or claims
- Escrow Administration
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement process improvements
- Review and monitor lag reports to ensure timely file progression
- Maintain and update Fee Attorney banking information
- Provide project support across departments as needed
- Closing Support
- Step in to support closings when needed, particularly in the absence of the primary closer
- Prepare Closing Disclosures and other transaction documents
- Ensure smooth, timely, and accurate closings with a focus on client satisfaction
What you must have:
- 3–5 years of escrow experience (Texas Escrow Officer license required)
- Background in title, escrow, real estate, or property management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 1–2 years of training or mentorship experience preferred
Truly Remarkable Service:
- You’re friendly, proactive, and organized.
- You love supporting others and staying close to the closing process—without needing to be the one at the table every time.
- You represent the company with professionalism and positivity, whether you’re working with internal teams or external clients.
