AmLaw 50 Firm Seeks Complex Construction Litigation Counsel - FLORIDA 
Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa 

AmLaw 50 firm seeks a dynamic attorney with at least 6 years of litigation experience to join its Complex Litigation Construction Practice as Special Counsel in its Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa office.

This prestigious, full-time, non-partner track role demands expertise in managing multi-party construction defect litigation with a high level of autonomy.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Exceptional self-motivation and focus, paired with outstanding oratory, research, and writing skills.
  • Extensive courtroom or arbitration experience is required, including conducting discovery, drafting substantive dispositive motions, and substantial deposition work.
  • Some trial or evidentiary hearing experience is also necessary.
  • Foundational understanding of insurance risk transfer issues for property damage claims is essential. Superior organizational and time management skills are crucial.

Candidates must also:

  1. Be in good standing, and an active member of the Florida Bar;
  2. Have a JD from an ABA accredited law school;
  3. Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar is preferred.
