Title: Paralegal & Administrative Support Specialist
Location: Washington, DC
Employment: Full-time (40 hours a week and no weekends)
Compensation: 65,000 - 75,000/year
Contract Length: 5 Years

Overview of Role:
Primary Responsibilities:
Paralegal Support:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research via automated tools, public databases, and other resources.
- Collaborate and consult with attorneys and government personnel.
- Manage and oversee program-specific surveys, evaluations, and related responses.
- Organize and prepare documentation such as exhibits, charts, etc.
- Compose and refine non-legal memoranda, research reports, and related correspondence.
- Contribute to content development and prepare training resources for various events.
- Perform additional tasks closely related to the primary duties.
Administrative Support:
- Handle daily administrative operations including word processing, data entry, and document management via tools like SharePoint.
- Respond to inquiries through phone and email efficiently.
- Manage and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Attend meetings, record key points, and produce detailed minutes.
- Oversee document distribution and receipt processes.
- Assemble essential files, binders, and materials.
- Draft, compute, and present information across various platforms.
- Analyze data from diverse sources and prepare detailed reports.
- Fulfill additional closely related duties as required.
Event & Webinar Coordination:
- Partner with subject matter experts for event preparations.
- Reserve suitable event venues and facilities.
- Ensure IT infrastructure is operational for events, coordinating with IT teams as necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of all training sessions and webinars.
- Prepare and disseminate evaluations for attendees.
- Offer on-ground support during events as necessary.
- Aid in the creation and editing of training descriptions and announcements.
Education and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (4-year program).
- Experience: Preferably 5 years in paralegal roles. Master's degree can be considered in lieu of experience.
- Certification: Paralegal Certificate is an advantage. Relevant experience can compensate for certification.
