Job Description

We are seeking to hire a Program Coordinator that will support the partnership among attorneys at Northwest Justice Project and the program that provides services to Seattle Children’s, Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic and Harborview Medical Center.

The Washington Medical-Legal Partnership (MLP) is an interdisciplinary partnership that addresses unmet legal needs and improves the health of low-income patients and families. This role will coordinate operations for Medical-Legal Partnership and Community Health services at Seattle Children’s including daily operations, referral and consultation system, patient, family and provider education and communications, staff orientation and training, and summer interns.

Key accountabilities:

- Coordinate External Affairs’ Community Advisory Board, the MLP partnership meetings and MLP Advisory Board 

- Schedule and staff partnership and board meetings, prepare and plan agenda with partners, take and distribute minutes and share action or follow-up items.  

- Participate in program monitoring, reporting and improvement activities. 

- Produce financial, community benefit and narrative reports for Seattle Children’s, MLP partners, government agencies, foundations and community grantors, adhering to strict reporting guidelines. 

- Monitor MLP and community health budgets, contracts, purchasing, invoices, grants, special funds and tracking systems.

- Administer invoice, purchasing, reimbursement, contract and payment processing. 

- Develop, design, and review patient and family, provider, staff and community education and communication materials, activities and web content for Community Health and MLP programs.

- Support MLP provider and community classes, and trainings, and participate in Community Health partner and sponsorship events.

  

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience that demonstrates knowledge and competency.
Five (5) years program coordination support experience; including at least two (2) years of experience organizing multiple projects through to completion.
Experience working on process improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
Experience organizing multiple projects through to completion.
Successful track record convening and facilitating dialogue with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
Experience with: drafting, editing and developing communications and/or reports.

Preferred
Experience working in public health, health care or social services.
Experience working on continuous process improvement projects and thorough understanding of lean methodology.
Experience in coordinating events and/or project management.
Experience with budgeting.

Compensation Range

$31.28 - $46.93 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
