Paralegal - Insurance Defense

Our Columbia, South Carolina Insurance Defense team is seeking a paralegal to join our busy practice. The ideal candidate would have insurance defense litigation paralegal experience minimum of 3 years.

Specific duties include:

• issuing subpoenas
• scheduling depositions and mediations
• analyzing medical records
• drafting medical chronologies
• preparing discovery requests
• communicating with experts
• interacting with insured clients and insurance adjusters
• trial preparation and heavy scheduling

The ideal candidate will be motivated, highly organized, detail oriented, and must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills required, to include MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Must be able to handle a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.
