Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team and support our operations in New Jersey and across North America. This individual will play a critical role in the company's launch in the US, and will provide strategic legal advice to key stakeholders within the company.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and strategic advice on all matters related to the company’s operations in New Jersey and the broader North American market
- Advise on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier, licensing, and partnership agreements
- Support the licensing processes and regulatory filings across jurisdictions
- Collaborate with internal departments including Compliance, Operations, and Executive Management
- Assist in managing external counsel relationships as needed
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
- 5–10 years of post-qualification legal experience
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate and commercial law
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
