Legal Affairs Coordinator

Reports to Head of Legal and Senior Legal Affairs Manager

DIVISION: HQ  NYC

Responsibilities:

  • Support the legal team functions as necessary including transactions, compliance, intellectual property, real estate, employment, and litigation.
  • Support contract management process, including execution, tracking, and filing of agreements and other transactional documents.
  • Maintain and organize documents in document management system.
  • Assist in the review of invoices via e-billing system as needed.
  • Handle notarization and legalization of documents as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and other job-related activities as assigned.

Competencies:

  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a multifaceted environment and pivot as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
  • Be a team player and take initiative on a variety of administrative tasks.
  • Must be a creative problem solver and recommend solutions based on limited information.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years professional experience in transactional matters and legal operations.
  • In-house legal experience highly preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • Familiarity with HighQ or similar document management system preferred.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar workflow software preferred.

Hiring Range:

$70,400.00 USD - $88,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
