Job Description
ATF is a law enforcement agency in the U.S. Department of Justice that protects our communities from violent criminals/criminal organizations, illegal use/trafficking of firearms, illegal use/storage of explosives, acts of arson/bombings, acts of terrorism, and illegal diversion of alcohol/tobacco products. Duties This position is located under the Enforcement Programs and Services, located in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of analytical activities relating to the programs under the purview of EPS and assists senior analysts with portions of larger studies relating to Division/Branch programs. Typical duties may include:GS-09 Conducts analytical studies and convey findings to management orally, and in writing. Utilizes computer software for the manipulation of data, including its collection, analysis, and presentation. Collects, compiles, and reconciles large collection of data from a variety of sources. GS-11 Conducts analytical studies and convey findings to management orally, and in writing. Utilizes computer software for the manipulation of data, including its collection, analysis, and presentation. Collects, compiles, and reconciles large collection of data from a variety of sources. Conducts complex studies to extract information, identify operational needs and specific problems, make recommendations and develop solutions to problems identified. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progresses. Salary- $69,923 - $109,975/year
