At Miles & Stockbridge, we are looking for smart and hard-working people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and ideas to join us. We are seeking an Associate to join our Labor, Employment, Benefits and Immigration Group. This position will be located in our Baltimore office. The ideal candidate will have one plus year of experience in employment litigation, counseling employers and drafting and reviewing employment policies and employment-related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements. The candidate will research and advise on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including hiring, discipline, termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour matters. Some responsibilities include litigation and investigation work, client counseling on labor relations and law, research and writing projects, grievance arbitration, collective bargaining and union campaigns, and other client sensitive matters. Qualified candidates must also possess a high level of academic achievement, law firm or clerking experience and superb writing, drafting and communication skills. We are particularly interested in candidates who have the ambition, drive, and team-orientation to help grow and support our practice. Federal clerkship experience is a plus. We will consider recent graduates from accredited law schools.

Base Compensation: $180,000 to $190,000.00 / year
