In addition to supporting the specialty finance activities of its sister company, Cascade Capital, CRM’s suite of products and services include master servicing, third party collections, and revenue cycle optimization.
Position Overview
The Contracts Paralegal will report to the General Counsel and assist with managing company contracts including the review and approval of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), business associate agreements (BAAs), and manage data for vendor contracts and audits. This position will oversee the contract request process and the Company’s contract management platform. The Contracts Paralegal will play a key role in developing and building-out the Contract Management Platform with Zoho.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Contract Management Platform (Zoho Contracts) and the Contract Request Process (Zoho Forms).
- Review and approve Non-Disclosure Agreements and BAAs.
- Assist in the finalization, execution, and storage of company contracts. Track contractual milestones and terms.
- Manage the Data Vendor onboarding and audit process. Correspond with vendors regarding renewals, or modifications of existing contractual relationships, and terminations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a transactional paralegal.
- 2+ years of experience working with contracts.
- Knowledge of how contract management platforms function and work experience with them.
- Familiarity with basic contract terms and non-disclosure agreements.
- Solid to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, and PDF software.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced fluid work environment.
- Able to take initiative and think critically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional decorum for working with counterparties and vendors.
