A client of CCG is currently seeking a  Trademark/IP Paralegal (remote position if living in southern CA or a hybrid position if living in San Diego.)

Job Description

 Our award-winning client located in San Diego is seeking an experienced Trademark/IP Paralegal for a remote position if living in southern CA or a hybrid position if living in San Diego.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all aspects of trademark registration, maintenance, renewals, and administrative proceedings in the USPTO and other countries.
  • Obtain information from clients relevant to trademark matters and conduct trademark clearance searches.
  • Review office actions, summarize issues for attorneys, and draft correspondences to clients about trademark matters.
  • Prepare and file trademark prosecution forms, ensuring timely compliance to all official deadlines.
  • Assist in intellectual property enforcement matters, preparing and filing various pleadings and motions.
  • Review and coordinate attorneys' billings.
  • Perform administrative support functions such as preparing agendas and reports for client meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate.
  • Minimum of five years of Intellectual Property Paralegal experience, with significant experience in trademark matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Working knowledge of USPTO rules and electronic filing systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to move projects to conclusion.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

 

Additional Information

Base Salary - USD  $80,000 - $100,000
