This job is responsible for supporting accurate and complete financial reporting for specific legal entities and consolidating results. Key responsibilities include facilitating month-end close, posting journal entries, monitoring and resolving out-of-balance intercompany receivables/payables, reviewing the trial balance to address anomalies, and preparing internal/external reporting with commentaries. Job expectations include planning and preparing for each monthly close cycle and the timely execution of all required tasks while maintaining a strong control environment.
Responsibilities:Oversee and process asset addition, retirements, transfers and other maintenance.
Review capitalization request to ensure compliance with Fixed Assets Standards and any local GAAP or Tax rules communicated by the local region
Monitor accuracy of the depreciation calculation.
Monitor asset transfers between Bank and Affiliates to ensure adherence to Reg W section 23A/B requirements as defined by the Affiliate Transactions (Reg W) – Enterprise Policy.
Validate that the appropriate business and finance approvals are obtained for all capital expenditures.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to partner across the organization to achieve goals
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good presentation skills
Oracle, and SAP experience
Regulation W knowledge /experience
Financial services experience
