Description

We are looking for a Senior Counsel with 7+ years of experience to join our Labor Management Relations Group. The candidate must be currently licensed to practice law in California, Washington, or Oregon, and have significant experience representing management in traditional labor matters. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience advising employers on labor relations strategy, collective bargaining, grievance administration, labor arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, and day to day employment counseling. Experience representing employers in administrative trials before the National Labor Relations Board is a plus. Strong writing, analytical, and client counseling skills are essential.

 

Buchalter attorneys partner closely with clients to provide practical, business focused legal counsel that minimizes risk while supporting organizational goals. This role will work directly with employers on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including collective bargaining negotiations, grievance administration, labor arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, employment counseling, and labor issues arising in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Our attorneys serve as trusted advisors to executives, in-house counsel, and human resources professionals across a broad range of industries, including hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, construction, entertainment, and real estate development.

 

Compensation: The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $225 - 280k. This is an employer estimate and the salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s years of practice and relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this position is eligible for annual performance bonuses based on productivity.
