Lasko Products, a market leader for nearly 120 years in home comfort products, including portable fans, heaters and air purifiers, is looking for a Human Resources & Legal Support Specialist to join the corporate team in our West Chester, PA headquarters. This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive support in recruiting, onboarding, HR and Legal operation, and requires an attention to detail, proactivity, and the embodiment of Lasko’s Core Values: Be Together, Be a Leader, Be Bold, Be the Change and Be Accountable.
This position will work a hybrid schedule, working Monday through Wednesday in West Chester and Thursday-Friday remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, and offer letter preparation
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company
- Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility in compliance with company policies
HR:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures
- Support HR initiatives such as performance management, training programs, and employee engagement activities
- Maintain HR databases and personnel records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and employee handbooks
Legal:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing employment contracts, agreements, and legal documentation
- Maintain legal databases, including contract repository, legal billing and consumer complaints
- Liaise with engineering and customer service to resolve issues raised by consumer feedback
- Respond to a variety of legal and compliance information requests from within and outside the company
- Support litigation, investigations and compliance activities, including discovery and retention

Based in the greater Philadelphia, PA area, Lasko Products operates in locations throughout the US and Canada. The company also sources select products internationally from China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, and India. Lasko operates distribution centers in all manufacturing locations plus Nevada and Ohio.
