About the Role

The Supervisor of Applications Development is an integral part of Latham’s Technology and Information Services team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Programmer team and ensuring compliance with all firm policies and procedures, while also supervising, training, and coaching the development team, fostering professional growth and development. This role will be located in our Downtown Los Angeles office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring team goals and objectives are met, adhering to firm guidelines and policies
  • Collaborating with HR and team leadership for recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Developing training plans and materials for developers, focusing on processes, tools, and technologies
  • Analyzing business needs and developing solutions in collaboration with users and stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, providing application support, and communicating project status to stakeholders
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Demonstrate leadership skills in organizing, planning, and decision-making
  • Exhibit advanced knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and mobile development technologies
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

And have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, technology, or a related field; in lieu of a degree, significant equivalent work experience may be considered
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant programming experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of C#, ASP.NET, and SQL programming experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing or supervising a development team

Pay Range
USD $160,000.00 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
