We are looking for an energetic Corporate Paralegal to provide premier administrative and legal support in our NYC legal team. This isn’t just paperwork—it’s about managing the lifecycle of corporate transactions, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, and playing a key role in our legal department’s daily success. You will work closely with General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, outside vendors, and internal teams, utilizing independent judgment to manage a dynamic, varied workload. Why Apply? What You’ll Do (Responsibilities): Drive Transactions: Assist legal team from start to finish on corporate and real estate transactional matters, including closings and preparation of closing binders. Visualize Strategy: Prepare and update corporate structure charts using PowerPoint. Draft & Manage: Draft basic documents, letters, and notices; manage corporate document filing systems with high precision. Corporate Governance: Form legal entities and handle foreign qualifications. Key Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with outside vendors, title companies, lenders, and outside counsel. Compliance & Support: Monitor service of process notifications, manage calendars for the legal team, and assist with invoice review. Special Projects: Assist General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel with ad-hoc projects, timekeeping, and expense reporting. What You Need (Requirements): Bachelor’s degree required. Hands-on administrative support experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint), with experience in document management systems. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
