Job Description
Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities.
Duties Position is located in the Women and Special Populations Branch, (WASPB), Reentry Services Division (RSD), of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) in Washington, DC. Responsible for maintaining a current knowledge of WASPB policies, guidance, initiatives, training and resources available to the field in order to provide accurate assistance and information to the institutions housing female offenders and special populations. Develops and provides input to program curricula and training materials for incarcerated women and other vulnerable populations including inmates who are veterans and inmates with disabilities. Provides guidance to institution staff, Female Offender Coordinators, Regional Female Offender and Disability Coordinators on issue of program content, training opportunities, purchase of equipment, materials and supplies and other issue relevant to the overall population of the Branch. Salary- $102,415 - $133,142/year
