Job Description
This position is located in the DEA, Birmingham District Office This position's primary purpose is to exercise, independent judgment and discretion in assisting in the preparation and processing of confidential employee matters. The incumbent will also maintain and coordinate the administrative support program in the Business Operations Section by initiating and ensuring effective communication, coordination, and follow-up action with other Divisions and Headquarters Program Offices within DEA.
Duties As a your typical work assignments may include: Performing administrative support services, to include Records Management, Privacy Act, official mail control, postal management, forms management, correspondence management, reports control, record keeping, etc. Performing human resources liaison services support, such as preparing requests for personnel actions. Managing division fleet services, including vehicles timely maintenance, service, repairs, supplement equipment, and documentation. Responsible for the Division's personal property management, logistics, and inspections and internal controls functions. Performing functions related to the Division Task Force Officer (TFO) program. Salary- $62,344 - $98,066/year
