LOCATION: Corporate DIVISION: CFO FUNCTION DESCRIPTION: Work with the Legal department to assist with day-to-day legal matters and review legal documents and contracts. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to: Sr. Attorney Supervises: None Contacts: Legal Department, various internal credit union staff QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Education: Must be currently enrolled as a full time law student at an ABA accredited law school. Experience: Prior banking, commercial contract, or estate planning experience highly preferred. Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication skills and outstanding problem solving/decision making skills Ability to handle confidential information Strong attention to detail Highly developed ability to manage time, tasks, deadlines, and shifting priorities Strong computer skills in office applications Equipment: PC, printer, copier, fax, telephone, calculator ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides a valuable and enjoyable experience to both internal customers and members during interactions. Review of legal documents such as trusts, power of attorneys, and estate documents. Draft letters and communications to members, attorneys or government agencies related to legal matters. Gather and organize documents for outside counsel when requested. Review and revise contracts for existing vendors such as non-disclosure agreements, order forms, and renewals. Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of this position at any time. WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment This is a temporary internship for Summer 2026.
