Position Title: File Clerk
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: This position will scan and digitize legal documents and files, ensuring that all documents are properly labeled and saved in our electronic database.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scan and digitize legal documents and files.
- Ensure that all documents are properly labeled and stored in our electronic database.
- Organize and maintain physical files.
- Assist with document retrieval and distribution.
- Perform quality control checks on scanned documents.
- Ensure that all documents are scanned accurately and in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience as a file scanning clerk is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in Windows-based computer applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
