This opening is a result of continued practice growth and increased demand for experienced counsel in employment-related litigation.
Description:
This position offers a hands-on litigation role for an attorney eager to develop a focused labor and employment practice. The associate will represent employers in federal and state court matters, arbitration, and administrative agency proceedings. Daily responsibilities will include managing discovery (particularly ESI), drafting and arguing motions, and contributing to case strategy in wage and hour class actions, discrimination matters, and multi-plaintiff employment suits. This is a growth-oriented role with the potential for mentorship and advancement within a dynamic and collaborative practice group.
Qualifications:
- Two to Five (2–5) years of experience at an Am Law 200 or similarly structured firm
- Demonstrated proficiency in employment litigation (individual and class/multi-plaintiff)
- Experience with both federal and state court procedure
- Familiarity with wage and hour law, discrimination statutes, and ADA/Title VII/EEOC compliance
- Comfortable managing electronic discovery and briefing dispositive motions
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Licensed or eligible for immediate licensure in Florida
