A leading global law firm is seeking a Private Equity Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its highly regarded Private Equity practice. This group works with asset managers, investors, and portfolio companies on sophisticated, market-defining deals.

What You’ll Do

• Advise clients on private equity and asset management M&A transactions, with a particular focus on GP stakes deals.

• Manage components of transactions independently while collaborating with teams on complex matters.

• Handle a broad range of corporate and transactional work, including:

  • Leveraged recapitalizations

  • Growth equity and venture capital investments and exits

  • Equity compensation structures

  • General corporate governance and compliance issues

• Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor.

What You’ll Bring

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania state bar.

• 3+ years of private equity, asset management M&A, or related transactional experience.

• Strong experience in asset management M&A (GP stakes transactions highly preferred).

• Broad corporate and transactional background (M&A, growth equity, venture capital, leveraged recapitalizations).

• Proactive, business-minded approach with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
