Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced litigation paralegal to support our growing white collar and criminal defense practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support, familiarity with federal and state court systems, and a proactive approach to case management and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· E-file in federal and state courts
· Draft standard documents such as pro hac vice motions, proposed orders, notices of appearance, summonses, and affidavits of service
· Assist attorneys in drafting and/or finalizing substantive pleadings and discovery requests/responses
· Substantively cite-check and format citations in accordance with Bluebook standards
· Coordinate service of complaints and subpoenas
· Maintain electronic case files, including pleadings and discovery
· Monitor dockets and calendar court appearances and deadlines
· Assist with document review and manage productions using e-discovery software
· Assist with depositions (including preparation and service of deposition notices and subpoenas, coordinating court reporters, preparation of exhibits, and preparation of digests)
· Assist with trial and hearing preparation (including preparation of exhibits and securing transcripts)
· Perform other tasks as assigned to facilitate the attorneys’ ability to effectively respond to the firm’s and clients’ needs.
· Maintain confidential information in a profession
· Note, there is a billable hour goal

Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree or higher and/or paralegal certificate preferred
· 4-6 + years of experience in a law firm, in litigation and criminal defense
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with legal practice management software a plus
· Excellent communication, grammar, and proofreading skills
· High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and client service orientation
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong attention to detail
