JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Attorney Professional Development department, assist with the administration behind Attorney Planning, Performance Reviews, Attorney Bonus and Compensation, and Onboarding and Departures. This job requires flexibility in work schedule and may require occasional overtime. A hybrid schedule may be available after the successful completion of a New Hire Probationary Period.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assist in all phases of the performance review process including collecting feedback, compiling and delivering follow up memos to associates, coordinating review meetings, compiling reports for firm leadership
- File and organize resumes, offer letters, and transcripts
- Maintain key department documents including attorney attrition and retention documents
- Engage in research on market data and prepare reports with findings
- Other duties as assigned to support the overall department programs, processes, and initiatives
SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Interest in a heavily administrative role
- Strong technical capabilities with Microsoft Office
- Easily able to learn the use of software programs
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good judgment in a professional environment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in law firm or professional services environment preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred or prior experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered
