We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our law office and provide breakfast preparation services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our staff and clients. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and orderliness.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain the office's appearance and hygiene, including:
- Emptying and removing trash from all areas.
- Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen/break room areas.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and surfaces.
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs.
- Dusting all surfaces, including desks, shelves, and furniture.
- Cleaning interior windows and glass surfaces.
- Mopping hard floors.
- Sweeping floors.
- Organizing cabinets and storage areas.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the Office Manager when supplies need to be replenished.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
Breakfast Preparation:
- Prepare and serve breakfast for office staff, Monday, Wednesday, & Friday.
- Duties include:
- Preparing and setting out breakfast items (e.g., coffee, tea, pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc.).
- Cooking breakfast items, such as eggs, bacon, or other simple dishes, as requested.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the kitchen area during and after breakfast service.
- Cleaning up dishes and utensils.
- Storing leftover food properly.
- Plan breakfast menus, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences of staff.
- Purchase breakfast supplies, adhering to a set budget.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cleaning and/or janitorial services.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to thoroughness.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation (for breakfast duties).
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a law office or professional services environment.
- Foodservice experience.
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
- Must Provide professional references.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to [Weight, e.g., 25 pounds].
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to perform cleaning tasks.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
