You will serve as the Deputy Director, Equal Employment Opportunity Officer (DDEEO) in the NETC/CDEEOO of CIVILIAN PERS SUPPORT STAFF.
Duties
- You will serve as the Deputy Equal Employment Opportunity Officer (DDEEO) responsible for developing, managing, and assessing the EEO and diversity programs for local and geographically dispersed faculty and staff employees.
- You will execute EEO and Diversity action plans impacting mission requirements at multi-echelon levels, which may affect the civilian workforce in both civilian personnel and EEO arenas supporting NETC faculty and staff populous.
- You will assess difficult, controversial, and complex individual complaints that are appropriate for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program intervention, requiring an in-depth analysis and innovative approaches to develop proposed resolutions.
- You will conduct an annual assessment of the NETC EEO Program and provide the results for corrective action for inclusion in the command assessment.
- You will advise management officials regarding the requirements for a Model EEO program to include affirmative employment, special emphasis programs and discrimination complaint processing.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Executing and evaluating a civilian federal equal employment opportunity (EEO) program to include advising on the application of equal employment opportunity (EEO) program requirements and developing strategic initiatives and recommendations for senior leaders. 2) Utilizing data to conduct in-depth workforce, trend and barrier analysis; 3) Assisting in EEO complaint management to include providing guidance to counselors and oversight of complaint processes; and 4) Briefing and training managers, supervisors, and employees on EEO related topics.
