The mission of this full-time position is to serve as the primary contact for tax and estate planning software tools. The Advanced Client Strategies Counsel will create and deliver training for advisors and staff, negotiate pricing with third-party vendors, and promote the use of the software while tracking sales opportunities. This position requires the management of the estate planning offerings, development of frameworks for pricing and processes, and collaboration with the Director to present plans to clients. This position will coordinate the training calendar, ensure compliance, and enhance the visibility of the Advanced Client Strategies Group within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
We are looking for a collaborative thought leader to grow our Advanced Client Strategies team. In this role, you will partner with advisors and their clients on tax planning, estate planning, business planning, and charitable planning strategies. You will:
- Work directly with our advisors, clients and their tax and legal counsel to provide strategic guidance related to tax planning, estate planning, business planning and charitable planning.
- Contribute to the financial success of our advisors by driving and tracking sales results through case consultations.
- Develop and deliver educational content to staff and advisors on topics related to trust and estate administration, estate planning, tax planning and charitable planning.
- Work with internal partners like Investment Advisory and Compliance to help answer legal questions.
- Develop relationships with attorneys, CPAs, corporate trust companies, and other partners in the community and represent Renaissance Financial to grow our brand and impact.
- Monitor relevant tax, legal and regulatory changes and provide timely, actionable guidance for advisors.
- Work collaboratively with the Director to help identify new revenue-generating opportunities, ensure they fit within our risk appetite, and align with our sales strategy.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for individual income tax and business tax strategies.

Education, Training & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must hold either a J.D. or CPA designation
- Minimum 5 years’ previous experience in estate planning and tax planning that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position
