Position Summary
The Adjunct Instructor of Public Defense Education will have primary responsibilities for teaching and curriculum planning in educational programs for defenders. Students include public defenders, private assigned counsel, managed assigned counsel, and private attorneys. Courses will provide skills that help students develop and learn how to apply a cohesive theory of defense at trial, understand how to structure arguments, and acquire legal writing and trial skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
A minimum of ten years of professional work experience in criminal law, adult education, and training.
