Manage family law litigation support engagements, including collaborating with referral sources to identify the scope of projects and overseeing the financial analysis by leveraging work with associates and senior consultants.
Prepare financial analysis and provide valuable financial insight and clarity to counsel during all stages of a family law dispute, including determining the value of the marital estate, a standard of living analysis, tracing pre-marital asset values, and valuing business interests.
Manage the file, including well-organized working papers.
Prepare mediation and/or trial demonstratives.
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or related field
3+ years of related experience
One or more certifications (or work towards certification): CPA, CFF, ABV, ASA, CVA, MFAA
Strong financial analysis skills including, but not limited to experience analyzing personal and business tax returns and audited or management prepared financial statements
Demonstrated experience with managing day-to-day aspects of client relationships and projects, such as quality of client deliverables, mentoring and developing staff and senior associates, developing client networks, and supporting efforts in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and orally, with clients, attorneys, and co-workers
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects
