
About the Role:

At Aircastle, our Transaction Manager is a key player in the fast-paced world of aviation finance, supporting our legal team and making sure every aircraft deal—from acquisitions to leases and financings—lands smoothly.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for organizing transaction documents, maintaining checklists, and coordinating with legal teams, aviation authorities, and registries around the globe. What You’ll Do:
- Be the organizational backbone for our legal team, supporting the various stages of aircraft transactions.
- Prepare, track, and manage all documentation and conditions needed to close deals efficiently.
- Keep detailed closing checklists up to date and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Liaise with aviation authorities and registries to make sure all filings and registrations are done right and on time.
- Set up and manage secure data rooms, keeping sensitive documents organized and accessible.
- Prepare and manage closing checklists for aircraft deliveries, returns, and everything in between.
- Draft and review corporate approvals, working closely with our lawyers and company secretariat.
- Coordinate document execution and filing, collaborating with paralegals and other team members.
- Maintain our status and filings on the International Registry, including searches and registrations.
- Communicate with the FAA and other aviation authorities to support all required filings.
- Oversee the assembly of closing bibles, ensuring every transaction is fully documented.
What You’ll Bring:
- Paralegal Certification or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s degree a plus).
- At least 5 years’ experience in a law firm or leasing company, with a strong track record in legal support or transaction management.
- Experience with aircraft lease contracts and transaction conditions is a bonus.
- Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and digital file management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills—you love a good checklist!
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and priorities, sometimes across time zones.
- Clear communicator and a team player who enjoys working with people from all backgrounds.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
