Job Description:
- Work closely with firm partners on all aspects of litigation management
- Conduct document review and legal research
- Draft pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and responses
- Take depositions and attend mediations
- Prepare for and attend trials and arbitrations
- At least 4 years of litigation experience
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
- Preferred, but not required: experience in construction, insurance defense, or real estate law
- Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Access to paralegal and legal assistant support
- Work in a laid-back office culture with a 9-5 schedule
- Quarterly and end-of-year bonuses based on billable hours
