Full-time Labor & Employment Attorney About Us

Our law firm is a leading provider of legal services, specializing in many of the area of practices including Labor and Employment Law, Public Law, Family, Real Estate/Construction Law, Torts, Insurance Litigation, etc . With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to client satisfaction, we are seeking a talented and experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our dynamic team. Someone who is interested in Public Law and is open minded to many other practices. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including:
    • Employment discrimination
    • Workplace harassment
    • Wage and hour disputes
    • Employee benefits
    • Labor relations
    • Occupational safety and health
    • Wrongful termination
    • Employment contracts and agreements
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documents, including:
    • Employment agreements
    • Severance agreements
    • Non-compete and non-disclosure agreements
    • Employee handbooks and policies
  • Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and Department of Labor (DOL)
  • Conduct internal investigations related to employee complaints, workplace misconduct, and compliance issues
  • Develop and deliver training programs for clients on various employment law topics, including sexual harassment prevention, workplace diversity, and compliance with labor laws
  • Stay current with changes in labor and employment laws, regulations, and best practices, and provide timely updates to clients and colleagues
  • Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients
  • Participate in business development activities, including client pitches, networking events, and industry conferences
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals
  • Contribute to the firm's knowledge management initiatives by creating and maintaining legal resources and templates
Qualifications Required:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar
  • 3-7 years of experience practicing labor and employment law
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Superior oral and written communication abilities
  • Proven track record of successfully handling complex employment matters
  • Experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
