
Job Description:
The essential job requirements of a Corporate Legal Assistant in the Western Title Division (WTD) are, primarily, to provide assistance to the Corporate Legal Department, as specified herein.
*This is a hybrid-office position and regular attendance in our San Francisco office is required.
The Corporate Legal Assistant must be detail oriented, be able to work independently after receiving direction, an excellent communicator and exhibit initiative. Prior legal assistant experience and familiarity with escrow/title insurance industry are beneficial but not required.
The job duties and responsibilities of a Corporate Legal Assistant are:
Monitor and renew as required or appropriate the various state licenses required for WTD operations and branches to operate in accordance with direction from the General Counsel and established Company policies and procedures.
Open, maintain and close WTD Corporate claims or matters (electronic, paper or other) in accordance with direction from the General Counsel, associate counsel and established Company policies and procedures.
Provide support in connection with responding to or completing periodic examinations or audits as required by WTD state regulators.
Provide support to General Counsel, associate counsel and other WTD Corporate officers as may be required for corporate governance.
Provide administrative and clerical support to General Counsel and associate counsel as necessary.
Maintain and manage PACER account for benefit of General Counsel, associate counsel and other Enterprise account users.
Maintain open and regular communication with the General Counsel, associate counsel and other direct reports of the General Counsel.
Perform such other tasks or work assignments as may be requested or directed by the General Counsel or associate counsel.

The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work. Factors which may be used to determine the actual pay rate may include, but are not limited to, education, training or experience; seniority; merit and work performance; quantity or quality of production; regional differences in compensation; differences in local minimum wages, or ability and effort.
Position's Pay Range:
$30.00 to $42.00 per hour.Benefits may include:
