 
                                What You’ll Do:
- Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization to company personnel and customers on title insurance commitments and policies 
- Apply underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits 
- Guide company personnel on the performance of real estate settlement services 
What You’ll Bring:
- Juris Doctor (JD) 
- Actively licensed to practice law, in good standing in the state of employment. 
- 3-5 years of experience underwriting title insurance, or comparable experience in a law firm setting, with commercial experience preferred 
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, including federal and state regulations 
- Understanding of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of real estate title and settlement process 
- Strong analytical, negotiation and business acumen 
- Ability to provide alternative solutions or convey unpopular information with tact. 
- Proven ability to collaborate, act decisively, and; build relationships internally and externally 
- Excellent communication skills 
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow up effectively 
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills 
Pay Range: $95,350-$127,125 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
