About the Role

As a Removal/Bond Attorney, you will represent clients in high-stakes removal and bond proceedings, develop creative legal strategies, appear for court, interviews, ICE presentations in NJ, NY and PA, and work closely with a committed team that values collaboration as much as results. You will have the opportunity to lead, learn, and litigate — all while making a profound impact on people’s lives.

What You’ll Do

  • Represent clients in EOIR removal and bond hearings
  • File motions, briefs, and appeals before EOIR, BIA, and federal courts
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with detained clients and their families
  • Participate in AOS interviews and SIJS hearings
  • Develop innovative litigation strategies based on in-depth legal research
  • Collaborate with case managers and legal assistants to build strong cases
  • Maintain organized, timely, and compliant case records and deadlines


Requirements

Who You Are

  • A licensed attorney in any U.S. state (New Jersey preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in removal defense and bond representation.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred)
  • Based in New Jersey with the ability to appear in person for court, client meetings, ICE presentations in NJ, NY and PA.
  • A strong writer, confident litigator, and tireless advocate
  • Deeply aligned with immigrant rights and social justice
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • To have a reliable vehicle is a must
