Role Overview
<\/h2>

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA)<\/b> to support Finance and Legal process automation<\/b> within the Automation Department. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and enabling compliance‑grade, audit‑ready automation<\/b> across finance, legal, and adjacent revenue workflows using n8n and Workato<\/b>.
<\/p>

The ideal candidate brings strong experience working with Finance and Legal stakeholders<\/b>, understands financial controls, contract workflows, approvals, and regulatory requirements<\/b>, and can translate complex business rules into scalable automation and system integration requirements.
<\/p>

This role partners closely with Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, IT, and Automation Engineering teams<\/b> to ensure automation delivers efficiency without compromising accuracy, compliance, or governance<\/b>.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Legal Process Analysis
<\/h3>
  • Analyze and document current‑state and future‑state<\/b> workflows across:
    • Invoicing and billing approvals
      <\/li>
    • Contract review, execution, and amendments
      <\/li>
    • Revenue recognition and financial close dependencies
      <\/li>
    • Compliance, audit, and regulatory checkpoints
      <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Identify manual steps, control gaps, and automation opportunities within Finance and Legal operations
      <\/li>
    • Translate business policies into clear, system‑ready functional requirements<\/b>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Automation & Integration Enablement
      <\/h3>
      • Design Finance and Legal automations using:
        • n8n<\/b> (primary)
          <\/li>
        • Workato<\/b> (secondary)
          <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
        • Define integration requirements across systems such as:
          • ERP and financial systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials)
            <\/li>
          • Billing and invoicing platforms
            <\/li>
          • CRM and CPQ systems
            <\/li>
          • CLM tools (DocuSign, Conga, Adobe Sign)
            <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
          • Ensure automations support:
            • Approval hierarchies and segregation of duties
              <\/li>
            • Audit trails and traceability
              <\/li>
            • Policy enforcement and exception handling
              <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

              Cross‑Functional Collaboration
              <\/h3>
              • Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Legal, and Automation Engineering<\/b>
                <\/li>
              • Facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions with:
                • Accounting & Finance teams
                  <\/li>
                • Legal & Compliance teams
                  <\/li>
                • Revenue Operations
                  <\/li>
                • Security and IT stakeholders
                  <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
                • Support automation intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning
                  <\/li><\/ul>

                  Documentation, Testing & Governance

                  • Produce and maintain:
                    • Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
                      <\/li>
                    • Functional specifications
                      <\/li>
                    • Process flows and system diagrams
                      <\/li>
                    • User stories and acceptance criteria
                      <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
                    • Support UAT planning, execution, and sign‑off<\/b>, ensuring Finance and Legal requirements are fully validated
                      <\/li>
                    • Validate automation outputs against internal controls, compliance rules, and audit expectations
                      <\/li>
                    • Support post‑go‑live stabilization and continuous improvement
                      <\/li><\/ul>

                        Requirements<\/h3>

                        Required Qualifications
                        <\/h2>
                        • 5–8+ years<\/b> of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Analyst
                          <\/li>
                        • Strong experience supporting Finance and/or Legal business processes<\/b>
                          <\/li>
                        • Hands‑on experience with n8n and/or Workato<\/b>
                          <\/li>
                        • Solid understanding of:
                          • Financial approvals and controls
                            <\/li>
                          • Contract lifecycle processes
                            <\/li>
                          • Compliance and audit considerations
                            <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
                          • Experience translating regulatory or policy‑driven requirements into automation and system logic
                            <\/li>
                          • Familiarity with API‑based integrations and event‑driven workflows
                            <\/li>
                          • Experience working in Agile / Scrum<\/b> delivery models
                            <\/li><\/ul>

                            Nice to Have

                            • Experience with ERP‑centric environments

                            • Exposure to Revenue, Billing, or Quote‑to‑Cash processes

                            • Experience in regulated or compliance‑heavy industries

                            • Certifications in Business Analysis, Automation platforms, or Finance systems
