Foreclosure Attorney

  Purpose: Aldridge Pite, LLP is looking for an Associate Attorney to practice out of the firm’s New Mexico office. The Associate Attorney will manage cases with an emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactional matters and protect the client's interest in litigation proceedings and general collection cases. Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Manage cases from inception to completion Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies Draft court pleadings, defense of motions Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person Other duties and special projects as needed   Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Juris Doctor from accredited law school One year of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law Admission to practice law in the state of New Mexico Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Must have the ability to interpret client systems Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet Ability to manage and prioritize large caseloads   General Competency Factors: Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action Demonstrates commitment to the Firm's vision, mission and core values Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a face pace and capable of multi-tasking Excellent problem solving and organizational skills Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary Overall good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change
