We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal who will assist our legal team with a wide array of corporate related transactions and activities including contracts, agreements, entity formations, and finance and commercial real estate transactions. This position reports to and assists the Chief Commercial Officer & General Counsel in contract management processes, vendor/supplier contracts, corporate governance matters, employment matters, and policy management. The position requires a professional who is comfortable working independently with the autonomy to coordinate, manage, and organize their day-to-day responsibilities with support and supervision as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent technology skills.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently support the full contract lifecycle to include review and some revision, preparing interoffice correspondence, shepherding contracts through the approval and signature process, ensuring all needed corresponding documents are executed and filed properly, responding to internal requests, maintaining contracts database, assisting in negotiations, archiving and record retention 
  • Support the legal department in developing contract templates and disseminating through the business
  • Perform initial reviews of contracts and work with the team to negotiate and finalize
  • Track and manage corporate licensures and filings
  • Coordinate the legal and compliance aspects of customer programs
  • Acts as legal department representative on cross-functional teams, as assigned
  • Provide support to other functions such as finance, regulatory, human resources, etc. as needed
  • Provide Compliance Support
  • Communicate effectively with employees of all levels and various third parties and vendors 
  • Own and manage multiple concurrent response timelines 
  • Perform a variety of legally oriented tasks and other duties as assigned 
Required Qualifications:
  • Requires Paralegal Certification or an AA/AS/BA/BS in a related field.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience of corporate in-house or law firm experience at the paralegal level working with commercial contracts and general corporate matters.
  • Excellent time and detail management skills in a fast-paced environment; ability to juggle projects and reprioritize quickly and efficiently.
  • Able to work independently and proactively
  • Able to effectively communicate, both verbal and written, with all levels of the organization 
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively. Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems (e.g., iManage, SharePoint, or similar platforms).
  • We are located in Jeffersonville, IN. You must be willing to work in this location; PharmaCord does reimburse for tolls if applicable, at the frequent user rate. This rate is applied after 40 trips per month (valued at $678.60 per year)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical environments is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks, corporate compliance, and data privacy laws.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • This is a full-time exempt position.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to type 35 WPM with 97% accuracy.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
