- Within the Office of Shared Administration, Office of Human Resources Management, Employment Litigation Unit, the position assists the Grievance Attorney and Unit Supervisor Attorney in a legal setting by conducting research of legal sources such as case law, statutes, regulations, legal opinions, and related documents necessary for the preparation of decisions, memoranda, notices, and orders: and assists the Grievance Attorney in preparing Notices of Hearings, scheduling of hearings, drafting of grievance decisions, and maintaining the database of grievance appeals and outcomes. May assist with monitoring unemployment and workers' compensation claims/appeals and outcomes. Responsible for the maintenance and filing of records, cost reporting, and other periodic reporting. Other related duties as assigned.

- Minimum Qualifications
Training: Successful completion of a Paralegal (Legal Assistant) training program.
Substitution: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university OR four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in a legal setting which required performing legal research, reading and interpreting laws and other legal authorities, and preparing legal documents, under the supervision of an attorney, may substitute for the required training OR a combination of training and experience as described above may substitute through an established formula for the required training.
