
Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhartlaw.com) is currently seeking a Paralegal in our Trusts & Estates department in our Milwaukee office. Our Trusts and Estates Practice helps clients build and preserve their wealth, both for themselves and for their heirs. Besides providing comprehensive trust and estate services, our attorneys often collaborate with financial institutions and trust companies to promote the client's best interests and ensure the client's needs are met.
This position will work collaboratively with all parties involved in the planning and succession process, particularly multigenerational families. You will work with attorneys who partner with our clients’ other financial advisers—including accountants and insurance professionals—to carry out the client’s estate plan as documented in their Will and Trust documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients throughout an administration while acting as a liaison between clients and attorneys.
- Interpret wills and trust documents to implement the estate and/or trust administration process.
- Prepare various probate and trust documents, accountings and fiduciary estate tax returns.
- Interact with various external sources such as accountants, banking institutions, brokerage firms and financial advisors.
- Interact with the County Circuit Courts.
- Draft and prepare probate filings.
Education: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree. Paralegal certificate is a plus.

- Must have exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be an independent thinker and self-starter.
- Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and the intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn and use new computer programs.
Physical Demands and/or Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to frequently use a keyboard, calculator, and telephone. Frequent sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and occasionally stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift (20 lbs.), and an ability to adjust vision for close vision work.
