The successful candidate will offer a passion for experience with the commercial loan due diligence process which may include any or all of the following:
- Lender liaison – seeking consents from lenders on leasing, estoppel, SNDA and other matters that require lender approval
- Substantial title and survey review
- Entity formation
- Assisting with the preparation of real estate sales contracts and loan documents
- Review and preparation of escrow instruction letters
- Supervision of closing process including the preparation of closing binders
- Additional tasks as needed to ensure successful outcomes
Education and/or Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in commercial real estate leasing setting with a focus on real estate financing transactions. Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Legal Studies or related discipline required.
Strong written and verbal communication, technology, and organizational skills. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office required, including Word and Excel. Ability to file and retrieve documents upon request to support/prepare correspondence and closing binders. Ability to research, review and coordinate multiple projects and anticipate deadlines.
