Job Description

We have been retained by an Am Law 100 firm with more than 600 attorneys across 11 offices to conduct a national search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the firm. 

The CFO will serve as a strategic advisor and leader within the firm and will report to and collaborate closely with the firm’s Managing Partner and Executive Operations Partner to align and integrate financial goals with the overall strategy and vision of the firm. They will be a key member of the executive team and be pivotal to the successful implementation of the firm’s growth strategy.

The ideal candidate will serve as a strong leader to the finance department, establish credibility to form strong working relationships with leaders across the firm, and will foster an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and transparency. In addition to leading the finance department, the CFO is expected to be deeply engaged with the firm’s office and practice leadership, as well as the Firm’s leadership team.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have gained significant experience with leading a finance department in a large law firm, or other large professional services firm. Candidates will have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role within an Am Law firm or comparable professional services organization. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree; an MBA or CPA is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued success of a growing firm.
