POSITION SUMMARY 

This role is responsible for assisting with legal research related to contractor licensure and regulatory compliance, along with supporting research of Finance-related legal matters, and help manage and organize legal documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct legal research related to contractor licensure, regulatory compliance, and other matters relevant to the Finance and Legal teams.
  • Support the Finance team with legal research tasks.
  • Assist in preparing concise summaries of legal contracts.
  • Scan, label, and organize legal and business documents, both physical and digital, ensuring they are properly indexed for easy retrieval.
  • Help establish and maintain a secure document management system (e.g., Dropbox or similar platform) for sharing and storing intellectual property (IP) and other sensitive legal materials.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and financial information at all times.
  • Collaborate with legal and cross-functional teams to support compliance initiatives and special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current enrollment in an accredited college related to the legal field.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including document scanning, naming, and archiving.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

The target hourly range is $19 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
