The U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO) for the District of New Mexico is one of 94 USAOs in the nation. But our office is unique. New Mexico is home to 23 tribes and pueblos, 4 military bases, and 2 national labs. New Mexico is the fifth biggest state of the union in size, shares a border with Mexico, and is a major international and economic corridor. The USAO is primarily responsible for prosecuting federal crime occurring in the District of New Mexico. The USAO partners with tribal, state, county, city, and foreign governments to ensure our communities are safe and prosperous. As an Information Technology Specialist for the United States Attorney's Office- District of New Mexico, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing technical and analytical assistance. Your duties will include (but are not limited to): Providing IT customer service and support in troubleshooting, recovering, and resolving recurring software/hardware problems. Managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment. Installing, configuring, and upgrading commonly used hardware and software systems. Assisting in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of networked systems including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, and related hardware. Maintaining telecommunications systems using knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems. Monitoring the functionality, security, and integrity of internet services. Managing internet servers. Analyzing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Salary- $57,331 - $98,141/year
